A MAN ON THE MOON
1.Man on the Moon was an important day for America and I liked how a lot of people at the time thought it would never happen for us Americans to get a man on the moon.
2.It was talking about the day and was describing about how Buzz Aldrin felt and the whole experience for him.
3.It shows an image of Neil Armstrong on the moon and the first 9 photos ever shot on the moon from the crew.He didn't whether we were the 2nd people on the moon and that this was still a surreal moment in history.

1. If the cover pops out from its background, don’t weaken it by fussing with it.
2. If it is invisible like wallpaper, decide what element is worthy of becoming dominant
1. The screen is the wrong size, no matter how big it is. You can’t see it intimately as if it were in your hands.
4. Worst of all, it is virtual. It is just an illusory likeness of the physical paper product that your potential buyer will ultimately be holding. If you are producing magazines on paper, think and remain conscious of “paperness” all the time.
2. Emotionally irresistible (that’s the image’s appeal)

Soccer features a photo of a boy balancing a ball on his head. Shot from below, the photo enhances the presence of the boy and creates a vanishing point towards the top of the page.
I think that this is a really good picture but I feel like there are a couple of things missing for this picture.First I don't like how the words are to the side of the magazine.Second the words are so small to see and I can read what it is saying.Third the picture is kind of blurry
This picture shows a boy playing soccer and is headlined by  the different angles.

Africa and Abandoned Theme Parks Page 2

4.Land of Oz.There was no pictures but there was a document called The Marvelous Land of Oz by L.Frank Baum it goes in full detail about the amusement park rides.Along with talking about the rides here it also talks about the history of the park and why it became abandoned.
5.I think it would be cool to document the Land of Oz because the place is abandoned for first.Secondly it is the time of the year when Halloween is coming so it has that scary feel and vibe.
Lastly, it would be cool to learn more about the history of this abandoned park, why the Land of Oz is not used a lot anymore.
6.It is in North Carolina so I don't have to worry about changing currency,I would need all the camera equipment, it is abandoned so I don't know if people would let me see it or if there were people that guard the area.I would be an interesting feeling to photograph an abandoned theme park.

American Soldier

A.Down and Dirty.I think this is the most powerful image because it shows how mentally, physically hard it is to be in the military and what soldiers especially Ian Fischer have to go through.
B.Because for me by looking at the pictures and reading the captions i felt the images were powerful enough to tell his life story.
C.The captions told me what was going on in the pictures and would help to tell Ian Fishers powerful life story.
D.Ian Fischer enlisted into the army at 17 years and his fathers was a veteran. Before he left he said goodbye to everyone and would party before facing the reality of the army.Once he got to the army he had meet his new comrades would go through basic training that was extremely hard. But,he would soon face drug problems and his girlfriend would break up with him so he was struggling. He would eventually tell the two sergents and almost got kicked out but he would be assigned to a new platoon.Once he came back home he parties, spends time with his girlfriend and also his dad before he gets deployed to Iraq. While in Iraq he gets adjusted to how bad it is in Iraq and would fight in battle. After Iraq he returns home and would get married to his new girlfriend Devin.
E.The verbs are written to describe what he is doing in his pictures and the context of the pictures.
F
F1.1-5 sentences
F2.The first tells what is going in the picture.
F3.The second says how he is feeling in the picture.
F4.The third tells more information about the picture.
F5.Yes Life-Changing Decision, at Age 17 has a quote from his recruiting commander.
F6.Yes In The Army Now has exactly 4 sentences.
G.Because the captions were well written and the pictures were powerful in telling the story.
H.The captions in the story tell the summary of the story but does not tell about the whole events and all of the points of views.

Aperture,Shutter Speed + ISO-How do they work

1.Aperture closely resembles how human eyes work.
2.The smaller the aperture the less amount of light that will pass through, the higher the aperture the more light that will pass through.
3.Aperture impacts the depth of field in how much your photo will be focused when you are taking your picture.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1.It fights against motion blur and is good a high speed.
2.You should you use the lowest iso whenever you can especially when there is a lot of light.
3.You should you use a high ISO when there is not a lot of light or if you need to take a sharp photo.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1.In Aperture you need to only worry about what your aperture is at.
2.In Shutter Speed you will only about how fast or slow your shutter speed is.
3.In ISO you will have to consider what your aperture, shutter speed and what your ISO is at.

Africa and Abandoned Theme Parks

1.I thought it was very interesting to see Nick Brandt start out as a video director to going full time with photography. This is a huge change in how he approaches everything in his work.Lastly,I thought he was courageous because not many people go to Africa and he is from England so there is a huge change in culture.

3.I like how he took a picture of a dangerous lion and was courageous enough to do that.I like how it is black, white and love who the picture was taken at the right time.
4.It has many rules of photography but are mainly simplicity and balance.
5.He does not use a telephone lens and he tries to go close to the animals to get a better picture.
6.He wants to take the best picture and whats to take a picture of how these animals are actually and not what many people think they are.
7.He wants to take the best looking pictures of these animals and show how these animals actually are.
8. “On This Earth, A Shadow Falls, Across the Ravaged Land
9.He wants to bring a new concept to life in these pictures.
10.He is not using photoshop with his pictures and is creating the most realistic/natural pictures.
11.I think that he is going to have better quality and more realistic pictures.
12.I like these pictures and it feels realistic and its quality is really good to me as if it is right next to me.

Great Black and White Photographers Part 3

1)What I noticed from Ansel Adams was that he shot a lot of nature like rivers, trees, mountains and more.I like how he takes pictures of nature and also how advanced his photos are.
1st Photo:
I see a mountain called Winter Sunrise.
I smell the snow all around me.
I hear the harsh winds and the mountains.
I taste the cold wind going into my mouth.
I feel cold and want to go home right now.
2nd Photo:
I see a lake called Mono Lake.
I smell the air and water.
I hear the water flowing in the lake.
I taste the pure fresh water from the lake.
I feel good, relaxed and love the scenery around Mono Lake.

Photo Manipulation and Ethics

A.They are talking about how photography is changing with photoshop and some news places are tracking this down and putting strict guidelines on what you can or cannot change in your pictures.
B.The New York Times and the Washington Post have strict guidelines on how to photograph your pictures.
C.You can edit your photo to make it look better but cannot change how the whole photo looks or make it look completely different.
sarahpalin1
Unethical-This is the most unethical because they changed the face of the person is complete photoshop. The picture is completeley different from each other.
