     1Finally Freshmen Andrea Gonzalez was named student of the month for Bowie by the principal on Thursday March 5,2020.

   2Andrea was an amazing candidate for this award with an outstanding 4.0 gpa and in her free time she helps in the local communities with different volunteer projects.

   3When asked who do you want to thank for this award she said,"My teachers, myself and my counselors".

   4She was officially awarded the golden pencil in the gym during fit on Tuesday March 10,2020.

   5When asked about the principal's thoughts on Andrea he said"She is an amazing student that cares about this school, teachers, fellow students and is getting better everyday".

   6Andrea is a focused, determined and hardworking student that is willing to get better.

  7Her academic decathlon teacher said,"Andrea is a smart, hardworking, unselfish and helpful person".

8Andrea has expressed in her recent interview that the college she will be attending is Stanford University she said.

9"I love the school, the people I have met have been really nice and this is an amazing opportunity in my life".

10At Stanford Andrea is majoring in Civil Engineering

11Andrea said on her major."I have always been passionate about engineering because it gets the best out of me as a person and is something that I've wanted to do for a long time."

Answer:I think I won this because i'm a very organized student and prepared well.
